Entrepreneurship Support and Development
XEDC specializes in entrepreneurship support and development through the provision of a variety of services that range from training workshops to business plan review.
Many students from all faculties will one day use their education in a business setting of some sort. We can work with faculty to plan and present in-class sessions or design extra-curricular activities to help students explore the possibilities of business ownership and cultivate entrepreneurial characteristics that will make a difference in their lives.

Bursary Program
XEDC Entrepreneurship Bursary - Deadline December 2nd This award is available to full-time students registered in their second, third or fourth year with demonstrated financial need. The applicant must be in good academic standing, be involved in extracurricular activities and demonstrate leadership ability. Previous recipients are not eligible to receive the bursary for a second year. As well as submitting a bursary application, the applicant must provide a typed letter, of no more than one page in length, which answers the following questions:
- Why he or she is interested in entrepreneurship?
- What are the applicant’s career goals after graduation?
- What small business experience does the applicant have?
